Spitting It Out

For at least a moment (probably longer) before you spit out that great idea, it was already there in your head, heart, soul, subconscious…waiting to get spit out.

How did it get there? I don’t know.

But the concept that the idea was there before you voiced it should bring curiosity about voicing more ideas so you can find out what else is in there.

Better All The Time

If you keep doing your thing, making your thing, writing your thing…you’re going to get better at it.

But there’s another level where during that process you make a conscious decision that you are GOING to get better as you keep doing it. Getting better not only by default but on purpose.

The ‘better’ compounds exponentially.

So if you’re going to keep at it and get a little bit better anyway…why not make the a decision and really see what you can do?

Doing Something With Winter

Summer isn’t broken, it’s just not here yet.

And no sense in getting upset at winter for not being summer. That’s just a distraction.

We’re here with what we have. And it’s going to change over time. But rather than just waiting around for the change, we can do something with what we have.

Dunk Fails

That was the headline.

Who was the picture above the headline? Who is having these epic dunk fails? LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Ja Morant.

Moral of the story…if you dunk more than anyone else and are at the top of the game you’re going to have some noteworthy duds.

I bet when they write the headline ‘Dunks of the Year’ they’ll use the same picture.

The Last Sweater You'll Ever Buy

There’s a lot of ads like this these days.

The best pants in the world.

The most comfortable office chair ever.

The ultimate athletic socks.

The only ski mask you need.

The last sweater you’ll ever buy.

Why advertise like this?

There is a desire for permanence. Or rather…we have an awareness of impermanence and it bothers us and these companies are offering the answer for what’s bothering us.
