I showed up to a gig but my pre amp didn’t make it (the pre amp is what takes my signal to the big main speakers).
So we asked the production company if they had a D.I. box (a D.I. is another way to get my signal to the mains).
And sure enough they had one. It wasn’t on our production rider but they were prepared for my problem.
Being prepared often doesn’t mean having just enough. It means having a little extra…so you’re prepared.
